I’m Sam Knight, a nature and wildlife photographer based on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland.
As you can see from my gallery, I’m passionate about wildlife, landscape and nature photography – especially showing animals in their habitat as context is everything when it comes to inspiring people to care about and protect our planet. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph in a few interesting locations around the world but my main interest lies very strongly with UK wildlife.
I also have photography and design experience in other genres, including portraiture, travel and product photography. Until moving up to Scotland I was one half of Campfire Media, working with outdoor brands to create marketing material and content. In 2022 I was shortlisted for the British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA) 2022. You can read more about my experience on LinkedIn.
